 This
course introduces various navigational tools and services found on the internet.
Topics include: Internet protocols, web browsers, search engines, discussion groups,
multimedia, chats, and e-mail. Numerous web pages will be visited to demonstrate the wide variety of products and services available on the internet, as well as online magazines, newspapers, etc. The course will also demonstrate how the internet can be used in an educational environment using online tutorials and lessons, etc. The course will also include writing web pages using both HTML tags and web editors.Upon completion, the student should be
be able to use various resources located on the web, use multiple search engine tools to locate information on the web, use email as a communication tool, and write web pages using both HTML tags and a web editor.
